Two Ted Stevens Thingies

Two interesting things re: Ted Stevens… Clicky clicky. Jim Bunning, once again acting senile: “I have found Ted Stevens to be the most straightforward, honest senator I have ever worked with,” said Bunning. And the hilarity with gay airport sex fiend Larry Craig never ends: Sen. Larry Craig talked about riding in a cab in Alaska to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. Fluorescent Bulbs - Dimmers and Mercury

Back in April 2007 I did a brief post on moving to fluorescent light bulbs. We've been changing to the fluorescent bulbs as the old ones burn out. But the one over our kitchen table burned out pretty quick. I thought they were supposed to last longer. Well, I put in a new new. Several days later as I was sitting at the table, there was a poof sound and the light went out. I mentioned this to someone who does maintenance stuff and it came out that most fluorescent light bulbs DO NOT work with

Katie Couric comes clean on the David Letterman Show about what it was like to interview Sarah Palin.

I like how Katie Couric seems to understand that Alaskans have "access" to reading material. Yes we do Ms. Couric they are mostly old Sear catalogs, but for us rustic types they are considered multi-use materials. If you know what I mean. "People either adore or dislike her intensely" Want to venture a guess as to which camp I am in? Really is it that obvious? But returning to that question about what Sarah Palin reads.
